Q. How do I set up myBC One Access: Off Campus?
A. 
Go to the Broward College home page: www.broward.edu. Choose the Current Students OneAccess button on the LOGIN drop-down menu as displayed below. You can also reach One Access directly via http://oneaccess.broward.edu. You will then select the MyBC tile.

IMPORTANT: If the login button is not working, please clear cache/cookies of your browsing window.

Log in with your BC Email or Username, click Continue.

Type your BC Password, click Continue.

When attempting to sign in for the 1st time, you will see a message stating that 2-factor authentication is required to secure your account, click Continue.


Q. What is the Academic Success Center – ASC?

Designed to advance academic achievement, the Academic Success Centers (ASCs) provide currently enrolled Broward College students with a variety of quality support services in a comfortable, collaborative atmosphere. Students are encouraged to utilize ASC services early and often to develop college-level study skills and become independent learners.What services are available at the ASC?

Academic Support Areas and Labs (Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, English as a Second Language, Modern Foreign Language, Math, Science, STEM, Writing)

Students can schedule a remote tutoring appointment with an Academic Success Center tutor by visiting one of the following links:

Tutor.com – Online tutoring services are available for currently enrolled Broward College students. Through this service, students can access practice tests and review materials in various academic subjects and work with a tutor in a live, interactive, and engaging virtual learning environment. Tutor.com can be accessed 24/7 through a student’s myBC account or Desire to Learn (D2L). Live one-on-one help is available on a limited basis per student, per semester.

What is the contact information for the Academic Success Centers?

Where are the Academic Success Centers (ASC) is located?

  • The ASC is available at Central, North, and South campuses as well as Willis Holcombe Center, Pines Center, and Miramar West Center. Please visit https://www.broward.edu/students/asc/ for specific location information.

Am I required to come to the ASC?

  • Some courses have a mandatory ASC component; however, other instructors/professors only recommend students to visit the ASC. Research has shown that students who come to the ASC are much more likely to be successful in their courses than those who do not come to ASC.

I am a Broward College student visiting another campus. Can I use the ASC resources?

  • Yes, as a Broward College student, students can use ASC services and resources at any of the campuses or centers.

Q. How do I find my student ID number?
A. 
All Prospective BC students are issued a unique student ID number upon successful completion of an admissions application. This will be included in your acceptance letter. This number is your unique number.You may also locate your student ID on the myBC home page. Look at the lower right side of the page, under My Details.
