Q. Do I have to have my international transcripts translated and/or evaluated?
A.
International students who attended colleges/universities outside of the United States, the transcripts must be translated to English by an American Translators Association (ATA) certified translator, if they are not already in English. If the student would like to potentially receive transfer university credit from that school to Broward College, then a commercial evaluation of the transcript from a current certified member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) will be required. Students can visit the NACES website for the list of the current certified members (https://www.naces.org/members). The evaluation must be course by course with upper-division courses identified and the grade point average (GPA) listed.
