Application FAQs

How and when will I know if I have been admitted?
Upon completion of all admission applications  and assuming eligibility, you will receive an acceptance email notification from the Admissions office within 24 business hours of submitting an online application.

All Prospective Broward College students are issued a unique student ID number and username/password upon successful completion of an admissions application. This username/password will be used to access myBC and other BC resources.

Admission status may be granted if all transcripts have not been received; however, all such documents must be received no later than by the end of the first term or you will not be able to register for future terms.

You can check the status of your admissions application and holds online:

Step 1: Log into myBC account after logging into BC One Access.
Step 2: Click on Admissions and Registration Status.

Step 3: Click on View Registration details and review information

I only want to take classes to transfer to my home college. Do I have to apply?
Transient students do not intend to transfer to or seek either a degree or certificate at BC.
